Hot Wheels for Max!

This cake was amazingly fun to make! I hope Max enjoys celebrating his second birthday with this marble cake with buttercream. The road and accents are all MM fondant. His mom is going to add a couple cars as the finishing touch!

Simple Birthday Cake

This chocolate cake with MM fondant cake was designed for an adult male. I thought simplicity would be best.

Bailey's 10th Birthday!

This was a ton of fun! I made a cake and homemade marshmellow fondant in green and blue for Bailey and her friends to create her birthday cake. It was pure enjoyment to see these girls create such a beautiful cake! They helped make the buttercream and roll out the fondant. After that their creative little minds went to work and this was their masterpiece.

I would LOVE to do this with more kids. If you want to celebrate with your own cake or cupcake creation, let me know!

Scooby Doo

I made this cake for our daughter's 4th birthday. Out of all the cakes that I've done, I am most proud of this one. She was SO excited when she woke up the day of her party and saw what I had made. She's always my little cheerleader when I'm baking. The smile on her face made the time put into this cake more than worth it!

St. Patty's Day

I had some extra cake mix, so I decided to create a small St. Patrick's day cake to share with my scrapbooking club. It is a 6-inch, two layer cake with buttercream icing and green sprinkles. It was simple and cute.

Josephine's 18th Birthday

This is more of a traditional cake that I created for a friend that requested a "Spring theme". It has buttercream icing and is adorned with flowers.

Superbowl 2009

I made this for a Superbowl party that we attending with several friends. The goal posts were pretzels that I dipped in white chocolate. There were several kids under the age of 8 -- that lead to quite a mess with all of the colors, but it was a lot of fun!

My First Cake

This was my first attempt at cake decorating. It was for my neice's fifth birthday party. I had a few icing bags, 3 or 4 tips, some icing colors, and an instruction sheet. I added the grass cupcakes with the little ladybugs to make sure that we had enough for everyone. She loved it and I discovered that I really enjoyed the process!
